Except in movies and books, I have never met anyone like this podcast guest. Enada Hoxha, the ballerina you saw as perfect, perhaps even somewhat cold, put me in a bit of a crisis of thought about true love.
I didn't expect that tone of openness in her story, because we humans tend not to open our hearts to the public like we share an apple.
Separated from Gerti, the love of her life, Enada has had to learn to live without him this year, in life and on stage. A divorce she neither expected nor welcomed, where she neither denies the pain, nor the gratitude for every beautiful day spent with the only man she has ever loved.
She's close to 50 now, and I think you understand how romantic something like that is in 2025.
We talked about ballet, about mentors, and even about the pasta she hasn't tasted since she was a child. We talked about her being a prima ballerina, and I liked that she told me so naturally, without justifying it, that being the first was very fulfilling for her. That she had been tired of being the first her whole life, etc. etc.
Enada Hoxha, thank you for opening your heart in this weekend's episode! The followers of this podcast love real guests and therefore stay loyal.
